Janpath Market has over time become a fashionista magnet with its vibrant hawker stalls and stores. The increased footfall can be accredited to the food counters. From savoury snacks like chaat and momo to refreshing drinks like cold coffee and sugarcane juice, there’s something to satisfy every palate. You can find one-of-a-kind treasures. Its proximity to Connaught Place lets you drop in and out of the market and entertain yourself in the stores and restaurants among the inner and outer circles.
I recently participated in the Indian Art Contest and decided to submit this painting of a photograph by my friend Ahana Chatterjee on her way to Janpath without me. Janpath is one of the best places to observe the hustle and bustle of Delhi. WHY DIDN’T SHE TAKE ME WITH HER????? I must go by myself…. I will share sketches of what I see, stay tuned!!
